Don’t Neglect Your Nose

The nose shouldn’t be looked over. We need to take care of just like any other part of our body. Especially since it’s the center of our faces.

If you suffer from black heads or just have gunk stuck in your nose Biore has a great product that should definitely help. They are Biore’s Pore Perfect Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. Foot Care Continued

In addition to my Foot Care post, there’s another product I’d like to add to keep your feet soft. Don’t know how it slipped my mind, since this product is amazing. It’s called Foot Cream from Sabon.

The Foot Cream is based on menthol and camphor. Camphor is the number one antiperspirant. It prevents foot fungus, foot odor, and it really softens your feet. The menthol gives it the fresh scent. This product is a must have for foot care.

Face Masks

There are a ton of masks to try. With all the options out there sometimes it’s just easier to try one that someone else has used. In the At Home Facial post I told you guys about the mud mask. Stop Excessive Sweating

You might be sitting in class, grabbing  a bite to eat, or simply just sitting. For some reason you can’t stop the sweat from under your arms even though you’re not involved in any kind of physical activity. It could be negative  degrees out and you’re freezing, but that still doesn’t stop the sweating. You’re not the only one dealing with this problem. There are so many products out there, and antiperspirants to try.

You can save up for Botox injections (which stop the sweating for up to 6 months) or you can try these wipe. DERMAdoctor has a great product from MED e TATE called, Hypohidrosis Control Wipes. These wipes are supposed to be strong enough, that with one wipe you’re sweat free for a week.

Spruce up Dull Hair

Every once in a while my hair starts looking kind of dull. It doesn’t need a trim, I don’t need to touch up my roots just yet…I can’t quite put my finger on it. And then I realize that it’s the lack of shine that’s making it so boring. Every once in a while I like to put a clear semi-permanent on my hair. I always use CLAIROL’s Natural Instincts.

The directions are so simple to follow. You just mix the two liquid products it brings inside. There’s a pair of plastic gloves in the box, that you can use to apply the semi-permanent to your hair. Leave it in your hair for 10 minutes, rinse off, and put some one the conditioner that comes with it also. The result is beautiful shiny hair.

We don’t always have the money to make the weekly hair appointment. So next time you do go to the salon pay attention to what your stylists does, and even ask them for some tips on things you can do yourself at home. With practice you can get a decent blow out at home.

I’ve been blow drying my own hair for years now. The only time I go to the salon is to get a trim or when I’m doing something major to my hair. If you’ve never done your own hair it might seem impossible to get the hang of it, but you will eventually. Like anything else it takes practice. And will save you money.

Does the heel of your foot ever get rough, dry and or flaky? It’s normal, don’t freak out. I usually scrub my feet with a scrub to get rid of the dead skin. Avon has a great foot scrub, it’s called Foot Works Tropical Coconut Sea Salt Foot Scrub. It smells delicious and reminds me of Caribbean beachy days. For only $2.99 I’d say that’s a steal.

After rinsing off the foot scrub I finish scrubbing off the dead skin with a foot file. Continue doing this 1 to 2 times a week. I do while in the shower. It’s quick and simple.

A Lip Gloss That Makes You Skinny…

Can it be true? Can I apply lip gloss and be skinny at the same it? Well according to a new line of lip gloss, it promises just that. Purple Lab introduces, Huge Lips Skinny Hips. It’s a lip plumper that curbs your appetite. If this really works, it has to be one of the most amazing products I’ve come across.
