I’m sorry, you guys probably think I abandoned the blog. But no I didn’t. Finals are around the corner and there are still some papers that need to be written.

Kissable Lips

Lips need to be taken care just like any other part of your body, so don’t leave them out. There are a ton of different lip glosses and chap sticks out there. Way too many to name. My top 4 as of now are the following:

C O Bigelow’s Mentha lip gloss is minty and moisturizing. It lasts a pretty long time. Every time I wear it I know I don’t have to worry about reapplying a million times. There are many other different flavors to try if you don’t like minty ones.

Burt’s Bee’s chap stick is my secret weapon of chap stick. In my opinion it is the best out there. Not only does is do wonders for your lips, but Burt’s Bees is an Earth-friendly company that makes natural products. I recommend all of their products. It’s affordable, good for our environment, and it works.

I’m also a huge fan of lip plumpers. Lip Venom from DuWop is one of my favorites, because I feel it working. I love the tingling sensation. The only thing that sucks is that it costs $16 and it’s really tiny. So I only buy it once in a while.

I had to leave the most interesting for last. Soap&Glory is a line of beauty and body products that are fun to use. Aside from the lip gloss having such a fun name (Sexy Mother Pucker) this lip plumper causes some major tingling. And not just tingling, it feels like if your lips are vibrating. I kid you not. If you want to try a lip plumper or any lip gloss you have to try Sexy Mother Pucker. You can find the line of products at Target.  Don’t you want your lips to vibrate? =)

Happy Earth Day =)

Happy Earth Day Fabulous people!

It’s so important to appreciate the earth and everything it gives us. It’s up to every single person to do their part in helping save our planet. There are so many little things we all can do like recycling, making sure we don’t leave water running, turning off lights when they aren’t needed, and reusing bags instead of always getting a ton of bags from stores we know we’ll just throw out once we get home.

Enjoy today and make sure you do something every single day that benefits our earth. And go watch the movie Earth, it comes out today April 22 in theatres. I’m sooo excited for it =).

Facial Wash For Every Face

Stand up to whatever skin type you might have. The product you wash your face with is very important. Every ones skin differs; therefore not everyone can use the same product. The company Sabon, which means soap in Hebrew, is a company that offer natural based products for the home and body especially. It has everything your body can benefit from like, hand made natural bars of soap, liquid soaps, body exfoliaters, a top of face products, lotions, and so much more. For Normal/Dry Skin: Try Sabon’s Aloe Vera Facial Wash. It’s hypo-allergenic; making it great for people with sensitive skin.

Another must have for either combination or oily skin are clean&clear’s oil absorbing sheets. Whenever you feel your skin getting oily or shiny you just blot the little sheet and problem solved. Want Flawless Skin…

This is the makeup every girl should own. It’s called Bare Minerals. A lot of you guys have probably heard of it already. I have never been let down by it. It’s extremely easy to apply and feels like you have nothing on. Not only that, but it looks so natural on your skin. You look as if you have flawless skin every time you use it, even when you don’t. When you buy what’s called the starter kit, you get all the essentials including all the brushes you need. The kit also includes a DVD that shows you step by step how to do everything. It’s easy to follow. In no time you’ll be a pro. (I’ve had days where I have to be out of the house in 5 minutes and I’m so good at putting the bare minerals on now that I can literally do it in like 2 minutes if I have too.)

I’m so so sorry guys that I haven’t posted anything all weekend. It’s been hectic. But very soon I’ll be bringing you guys my secret weapon in makeup. I absolutely love it and can’t live without it. I’ve been using it for a year =).

Kissing vs. Orgasm

Interesting question I came across in Glamour magazine. I’m still actually thinking about it lol. 

Would you guys rather date a horrible kisser who always made you orgasm, or an amazing kisser who could never make you orgasm?

Mega Volume

My hair lacks volume and so I’m always searching for a product or tool that’s going to get the job done and give me the volume I need. So for you fabulous people who share my dilemma, I’m here to help. Before, I used to blow dry my hair upside down. The volume was there when I flipped my hair up, but it went away quickly. And so after much research I’ve discovered a few things that work for me.

Hot Rollers are my favorite tool of choice right now. They heat up within 10 minutes, and they’re so easy to do yourself. I usually leave then in my hair for 15-20 minutes. While they’re in your hair you can do everything else needed to get ready like do your make-up, get dressed, grab a snack or whatever. When I take the rollers out my hair I have volume and soft waves. I love it.

You can also try root lifting sprays. I currently use Victoria’s Secret So Sexy root lifting spray. I just spray all over my roots after I wash my hair. (It smells great too). There are a ton of brands that have their own root lifting sprays. Another great one is Tresemme’s. I like theirs because it also protects against heat damage.

Volumizing shampoos and conditioners help a ton. I use both Victoria’s Secret and Pantene Pro-V’s volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I like to alternate between brands, because when your hair gets used to one particular brand the product wont work as well. Every couple of weeks I’ll switch them.

Sometimes my hair likes to act up during rainy or humid days. By acting up I mean start to frizz. Hair serums work great for frizz and fly aways. The problem I had with serums, was that they would weigh down all my volume =(. I found a solution to that though. Victoria’s Secret So Sexy Serum is for volume as well. While you hair is damp just apply a dime size to your ends, but avoid putting too much on top.

Keep in mind that you don’t have to use all of the products at once. You can alternate. For instance, only use the serum on rainy or humid days. Or alternate between the volumizing shampoo and the root lifting sprays. Now the hot rollers I use almost everyday. But that’s just cause I’m obsessed with it right now =).

Dye your hair without the Dye

Okay so I’m a hair dye virgin. That’s why I’m so excited and anxious about dying my hair tomorrow. But I love experimenting with my hair. I have brown hair, I wanted a change and I did it without the dye. I found this great product called Clairol Natural Instincts. It’s semi-perminent for your hair. In 10 minutes I had jet black hair. It didn’t do any damage, instead it made my hair really soft and shiny. And I kept it that way for about 8 months. However summer is coming and I want to leave my dark wintry locks behind.

It’s an awesome product. It washes out after about 28  shampoos. If you don’t want to change your hair color they also have a clear one that makes your hair REALLY shiny. So fabulous pplz get out there and so something out of the ordinary today. Change can be scary at times, but O so much fun.
